Lifestyle brand AC Hotels by Marriott has opened a new property in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte in North Carolina, US.

The new AC Hotel Charlotte Ballantyne has 186 guestrooms and other guest amenities include a 24-hour fitness centre, and a yoga studio.

It also features the brand’s signature AC Kitchen, which caters European-inspired breakfast buffet and locally sourced Forte Legato espresso bar.

The AC Hotel Charlotte Ballantyne also boasts an AC Lounge featuring tapas, Spanish wines, handcrafted cocktails, and local brews.

Panorama Ballroom on the 16th floor is equipped to serve high-end dining experience and can host weddings, corporate or social events.

The property is managed by hotel development and management firm Concord Hospitality.

AC Hotel Charlotte Ballantyne fills the first seven floors of the Panorama Tower, which has approximately 100,000ft2 of Class A office space located above the hotel.

The hotel and offices have separate entrance and lobbies, each equipped with dedicated elevators.

The property is located close to dining and shopping destinations and well as parks and outdoor activities within Ballantyne Village.

AC Hotels by Marriott operates a network of nearly 150 design-led hotels in 19 countries and territories.

Last month, the brand opened AC Hotel St. Louis Central West End, the seven-story, 94,300ft2 property at the eastern edge of Central West End’s Forest Park.
