Moxy Hotels, a brand within the Marriott Bonvoy group, has launched its first property in Nepal with a new opening in Kathmandu.

The hotel is situated in Durbarmarg, a central business and entertainment area of the capital.

Its location places guests close to key landmarks such as Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, and Thamel market. Tribhuvan International Airport is approximately 15 minutes away by car.

The newly opened Moxy Kathmandu offers 101 guestrooms designed with modular furniture and technology features, including motion-activated lights and HD smart TVs.

The room layouts aim to balance comfort and practical use of space. Facilities include a fitness centre intended for various kinds of workouts.

The hotel’s public spaces include an open lobby displaying artwork referencing Nepali culture.

Dining facilities consist of a Latin restaurant La Hacienda – Barra y Cocina Latina on Level 11. The restaurant features an open kitchen concept designed by Pablo Castellanos and provides views across Kathmandu Valley.
