Marriott International and Rashed Darwish Al Ketbi (RDK) Commercial Investments have formalised an agreement to establish a St Regis brand resort in the Mirfa region of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The St Regis resort will be located along the shoreline of Mirfa, a coastal town situated 150km west of Abu Dhabi.

With a planned opening for 2029, the development will comprise 63 private villas, including both beachfront and floating options.

Each villa will feature indoor and outdoor living spaces, private lifts, upper and lower decks, shaded canopies, skylight flooring, and floating pools.

Guests will have access to multiple dining venues, swimming pools, fitness centre, a spa facility, children’s club, and padel court, as well as butler service.

Marriott International Europe, Middle East and Africa chief development officer Jerome Briet said: “We continue to witness a robust appetite for luxury experiences across the UAE and look forward to introducing the St Regis brand to the tranquil coastal enclave of Mirfa.
