Marriott International has expanded its brand presence in South America by opening the Humano, Lima, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, in the Miraflores district of Peru’s capital city.
The new property marks Tribute Portfolio’s first entry into Lima, with Marriott aiming to attract local residents and visitors.

The Humano, Lima hotel features 157 guest rooms across various categories, with options designed for families.
Social spaces at the hotel include a rooftop grill restaurant, a café, and a rooftop pool. Additional amenities such as wellness facilities and flexible event areas are available to guests.
According to Marriott, these spaces are aimed at both visitors and locals, providing places for gathering and interaction.
The hotel team offers tailored service, aiming to share recommendations and local insights with guests to support their exploration of Lima.
Marriott Caribbean and Latin America owner and franchise services vice-president Ricardo Echeverri said: “Humano opens as a place where guests can experience Lima from a genuine and local perspective, with hospitality that feels natural and personalised. We want every visitor to feel part of the community and every stay to become a meaningful moment.”
Humano, Lima joins the Marriott Bonvoy programme, enabling members to earn and redeem points for stays at the property and at more than 10,000 destinations and territories worldwide.
Tribute Portfolio is described as a collection of independent hotels focused on individuality and design, operating in more than 35 countries and territories with over 180 locations. The brand features properties such as Ermita in Cartagena, The Vagabond Club in Singapore, Bellyard in Atlanta, and Hotel Riomar in Ibiza.
Earlier this month, Marriott signed nine new hotel agreements in Greece, increasing its presence in that market.
These deals cover nearly 1,000 rooms and will include the introduction of the Residence Inn and Le Méridien brands to Greece, adding to Marriott’s existing portfolio in the country.
