Marriott International has entered a multi-deal agreement with Ventive Hospitality to launch seven new hotels, expanding its presence across five brands with a total of 1,548 keys.
This strategic move includes the introduction of several brands to new locations such as the Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Sri Lanka and Marriott Hotels & Resorts in Varanasi, India.
The agreement with Ventive Hospitality, a premier division of Panchshil Realty known for luxury and business hotel development and asset management, will see the opening of these properties by 2030.
Ventive Hospitality chairman and executive director Atul Chordia said: “This signing not only strengthens our two-decade-long relationship with Marriott International but also marks a pivotal moment in our journey to redefine India’s hospitality sector.
“By leveraging Marriott’s global expertise and our deep real estate knowledge, we aim to create distinctive destinations that elevate guest experiences for both business and leisure travellers, driving growth in the luxury and upper-upscale segments and expanding our footprint beyond Pune, Bengaluru, and the Maldives.”
The Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Pottuvil, Sri Lanka, will offer an ultra-luxury experience with 73 villas, each featuring a private sun deck, separate living area, and infinity plunge pool.
