Mauna Kea Beach Hotel has introduced the Spa at Mauna Kea, a 22,000ft² destination spa developed as part of the property’s more than $180m renovation.
The spa’s offerings include lomilomi-inspired therapies utilising native Hawaiian botanicals, mineral-rich salts, and hand-gathered lava stones.

These therapies are supported by additional treatment options, including skincare, LED light therapy, and treatments targeted at muscle recovery and general wellbeing.
Spa at Mauna Kea features 11 outdoor treatment rooms, including suites for couples. Each room is provided with a private lanai, outdoor shower and soaking tub.
The facility also includes men’s and women’s purification gardens with steam and sauna rooms, plunge pools, soaking baths, as well as a co-ed deck with a vitality pool and hot tub.
Additional facilities comprise a Mind and Body movement pavilion and a full-service salon.

Mauna Kea Resort spa director Psalm Quinn, who has more than 25 years of wellness sector experience, oversees the programme.

Mauna Kea Beach Hotel has recently completed renovations enhancing all 252 guest rooms and suites.
Other improvements include a new oceanfront adults-only pool, a fitness centre, garden spaces, and upgraded family and recreation areas. The Mauna Kea Golf Course and Seaside Racquet Club have also been revitalised.
The wider Mauna Kea Resort covers 1,839 acres, sharing grounds with The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort and Mauna Kea Residences.
