Global hospitality group Minor Hotels has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Soma Bay Hotel Company SAE for the development of a new luxury resort under its Anantara brand in Egypt.
The inaugural venture resulting from this collaboration is slated for disclosure later in the current year.

The project is situated in Soma Bay, an all-encompassing resort locale on the Red Sea’s shores within Egypt.
Set against the backdrop of a scenic peninsula, Soma Bay provides an array of recreational activities such as diving, windsurfing, and sailing.

The new Anantara resort and branded residence complex will join the brand’s portfolio of more than 50 properties across Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Indian Ocean.
Headquartered in Egypt, Soma Bay Hotel Company specialises in the hospitality industry, managing a portfolio of high-end accommodations situated along the Red Sea coastline.

The partnership with Soma Bay Hotel Company follows last year’s strategic alliance with The Cavaleros Group to manage a hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa.
