Global hotel owner and operator Minor Hotels is set to relaunch Reethi Beach Resort in Maldives under its NH Collection brand in December 2025.

The resort is currently in the final phase of a six-month extensive renovation programme which is being carried out in partnership with an Ares Management-managed private equity fund.

Located in Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the resort has updated its villas, dining options and leisure facilities.

The resort offers 105 villas, including beach and overwater options, with 16 new villas featuring private pools. The property also offers three dining options.

Overwater villas sit on the lagoon’s north side and provide views from private decks. Beach villas offer direct access to the shoreline.

The NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort aims to provide visitors with both land-based and aquatic activities within the protected atoll environment.

Additional outlets include Madumaithri by the beachfront infinity pool and Aqua Bar near the main pool. In addition, Atardecer operates as a sunset beach bar with evening entertainment.

NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort will open as Minor Hotels’ ninth property in the Maldives.

This will be the company’s second NH Collection property in the country, following the NH Collection Maldives Havodda Resort, which began operations in 2023 in Ghaafu Dhaalu Atoll.

In March, Minor Hotels announced plans to introduce an NH Collection property in Asunción, Paraguay, to further expand its presence in South America.
