Thailand-based hotel owner Minor Hotels is set to expand its Avani Brand in Europe and Latin America by adding seven properties to its portfolio.

Of the seven properties, five will be located in Europe: one in Spain, one in Germany, one in the Netherlands and two in Italy.

In Latin America, two hotels will be launched in Mexico and Colombia as well.

In June, Avani will launch in Spain with the rebranded Avani Alonso Martínez Madrid Hotel, which features 101 guest rooms.

In Italy, the company will open the 65-guest room Avani Palazzo Moscova Milan Hotel and the 144-room Avani Rio Novo Venice Hotel.

Later this year, Avani will launch in Germany with the redesigned Avani Frankfurt City Hotel which will consist of 256 rooms.

Avani will also unveil a 163-room hotel in Amsterdam next year. This redesigned Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam Hotel will join the brand’s portfolio in the second quarter of 2024.

Meanwhile, Avani is preparing to launch in Latin America as regional operations will commence in Mexico, with the 140-room Avani Cancun Airport Hotel opening in Q3 2023 followed by the 66-key Avani Royal Zona T Bogota Hotel in Colombia in Q4.
