Marriott Hotels has unveiled Changzhou Marriott Hotel at the Changzhou Modern Media Center in Jiangsu Province, China.

Changzhou Marriott Hotel occupies the top floors of the 333m-tall centre, which is the tallest skyscraper in the city.

The Marriott Hotel in Changzhou features 268 rooms, 1,900m² of meeting space an 800m² grand ballroom, a 280m² ballroom, and 11 meeting rooms.

"The architectural design of the building is inspired by the 1,300 year-old Tianning Pagoda."

It also houses an indoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and kitchen / kitchenette. Each room is equipped with facilities and amenities ranging from WiFi to 42in flat-panel TV.

Changzhou Marriott Hotel general manager Ivy Shi said: "The architectural design of the building is inspired by the 1,300 year-old Tianning Pagoda, which is the most famous reclaimed relic in Changzhou.

"The décor of guestrooms adopts the artistic elements of Jintan paper-cut, a National Intangible Cultural Heritage item from Changzhou."
