Marriott International has launched its first dual branded property, the Courtyard by Marriott and Fairfield by Marriott, in India.

Located in the outer ring road (ORR) in Bengaluru, the dual-brand, 332-room property was established with an investment amount of Rs3bn ($44m).

With this opening, Marriott now operates 31 hotels under seven brands across India, while 52 more are in the pipeline, as reported by CNBC-TV18.

The 170-room (134 deluxe, 24 executive deluxe rooms and 12 suites) Courtyard brand is being introduced for the first time, while Fairfield is an established Marriot brand in India.

The new Fairfield hotel at Bengaluru’s ORR is a second construction in the city alongside the Fairfield by Marriott at Rajaji Nagar.

The new Fairfield by Marriott comprises 169 rooms, including 115 deluxe rooms and 54 pool-view rooms.

The property also features a restaurant, a bar and a lounge.

Courtyard and Fairfield offer joint amenities including a gym, swimming pool and meeting rooms.
