MGM Resorts is to carry out a $160m remodelling of its MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, US.
The remodelling will be complete by September 2012 and includes all 3,570 guestrooms and 642 suites in the hotel’s main tower.

According to MGM, the initial set of redesigned rooms will be complete by the end of November 2011.
MGM Grand opened in 1993 at a cost of $1bn and received its last major refurbishment in 1999.
