Qatar-based Retaj Hotels & Hospitality will expand its Middle East portfolio to 20 hotels over the next five years.
The company recently signed a deal to acquire a 107-room hotel in Doha, which will open in two months under the name Retaj Royal.

Beginning with the UAE and Kuwait, the brand will be expanded across the region in 2012, according to hoteliermiddleeast.com.
Retaj Hotels & Hospitality’s head of regional sales and marketing Ahmed Khorshed said that openings are also planned for Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Malaysia, Turkey and Indonesia.
The hotel brand currently operates four hotels in Qatar: Retaj Al Reyyan, Retaj Residence, Retaj Residence-Sharq and Retaj Al Ghanem.
