Luxury hotel brand Park Hyatt has marked its debut in Malaysia with the opening of a new property in Kuala Lumpur.
The hotel is situated between levels 75 and 114 of the Merdeka 118 skyscraper, offering views of the city’s skyline.

Hyatt Asia Pacific group president David Udell said: “The Park Hyatt brand hits a milestone at 50 properties globally, adding its first hotel in Malaysia with the debut of Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, also marking an important breakthrough for the brand within Southeast Asia and worldwide.
“This makes for an exciting chapter for Hyatt’s brand growth in the region, with three new properties opening in Kuala Lumpur within a year, and an expansion of diverse offerings.”
The Kuala Lumpur hotel features 252 guestrooms and suites, each designed as a private sanctuary with floor-to-ceiling windows framing the cityscape.
Features include living areas, a double vanity, a walk-in dressing room, a full bath with a separate rain shower and aromatherapy shower steamer, and a personal study area. Several rooms also offer private dining spaces with views.

By GlobalDataDining options at the property include Merdeka Grill, Park Lounge, and Cacao Mixology & Chocolate, the city’s first chocolate-themed bar with views of the Petronas Twin Towers.
The Park Hyatt’s wellness facilities on the 99th floor include a yoga movement studio, a fitness centre with Life Fitness Integrity+ Series cardio equipment, and private treatment suites.
It also offers a relaxation lounge with an aromatherapy steam bath and Himalayan Salt Alcove, vitality pool, and a 30m infinity pool.
The hotel’s spa is among the few in Southeast Asia to offer circadian therapies.
The Park Hyatt hotel features a collection of executive salons for events.

With the addition of this property, there are now 49 Park Hyatt hotels worldwide.
