Preferred Hotels & Resorts has announced that the Wynn Al Marjan Island hotel project will join its Legend Collection, ahead of the resort’s anticipated launch in 2027.

Situated under 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in Ras Al Khaimah, the $5.1bn development is said to be one of the region’s largest luxury hospitality projects and aims to set new standards for integrated resorts in the Middle East.

The project is being developed by Wynn Design & Development together with Marjan. Designed as an upscale beachside destination, Wynn Al Marjan Island spans over 60ha on a curved island in the Arabian Gulf.

The resort will feature a 70-storey tower, housing 1,530 guest rooms with panoramic water views.

Included within the development are 313 suites at Enclave, a boutique hotel located on the top floors for a highly personalised guest experience.

Wynn Al Marjan Island will offer amenities such as a theatre, 22 restaurants and lounges, a five-star spa, luxury retail outlets, a 420m white-sand beach, and the Coral Court event space for weddings and large gatherings.
