The integration employs Salto’s cloud-based solution Salto KS, allowing RMS users to generate digital mobile keys directly via the reservation interface.

Accessible via the Salto app, these mobile keys allow guests to unlock doors using smartphones. Operators can manage access to rooms and shared amenities, such as pools and gyms, directly through the RMS platform.

The integration of access control into the guest journey provides a more efficient check-in process and enhances security through real-time management and access logs. This system allows staff to concentrate on service, while guests gain the convenience of mobile check-in and keyless room entry.

RMS CEO Adam Seskis said: “This integration with Salto reflects our ongoing commitment to removing friction from the guest journey and modernising core operational processes.

“By enabling smart, secure access from within our PMS, we’re helping operators deliver a smoother arrival experience, reduce admin, and strengthen property security, all within a single platform.”

Salto Systems technology partner and integrations lead Michael Cianfaglione said: “Salto KS is designed to simplify access control while delivering robust security and real-time visibility for operators.

“By integrating with RMS, we’re extending these capabilities directly into the heart of hospitality operations. It’s a great step forward for properties looking to offer smarter, more connected guest experiences.”

The partnership aligns with RMS’s efforts to consolidate different hospitality functions such as property management and communication into a single cohesive platform.
