Operated by Rocket Travel by Agoda, WestJet Hotels covers all aspects of the booking process, including search, reservation, and customer support, with access to a wide selection of international hotels.

The partnership aims to integrate hotel bookings with WestJet’s flight services, enabling travellers to organise flights and accommodation together via the airline.

By offering the opportunity to collect points on hotel stays, the initiative supports the continued development of the WestJet Rewards programme and seeks to encourage repeat business among its customer base.

WestJet loyalty and strategic partnerships vice-president Steve McClelland said: “We are proud to be partnering with Rocket Travel by Agoda to offer more flexibility and choice to guests and WestJet Rewards members.

“With more than 500,000 hotel options, our new hotel booking platform will offer something to suit the needs of every guest.

“WestJet Rewards members will now be able to earn at least two WestJet points per dollar on hotel bookings, with even more value to be unlocked by top-tier members.”

Focusing on travel routes served by WestJet in Europe, North America, and Asia, WestJet Hotels extends its service across major regions within the airline’s network.

This move forms part of WestJet’s wider strategy to provide additional options for travellers while strengthening its loyalty offerings.

Rocket Travel by Agoda head Damien Pfirsch said: “At Rocket Travel by Agoda, we are committed to delivering a more connected trip experience, where every stage of travel is seamlessly integrated. This partnership is a perfect example of that vision in action.

“We’re honoured by WestJet’s confidence in our technology and global reach, which enables us to create a platform where their guests can complete their travel planning by booking a hotel – whether they’re connecting a stay to their flight or simply looking to earn WestJet Rewards on a standalone getaway.”

In October, Agoda collaborated with hotel operator Premier Inn to meet increasing demand from Asian travellers seeking accommodation in the UK and Europe.
