Pearl Continental Hotel Rawalpindi has become the first hotel in Pakistan to implement Shiji’s Daylight PMS, a cloud-native property management system (PMS).
Shiji completed the deployment as part of its entry into the Pakistani market.

The implementation was carried out in collaboration with the Hashoo Group, which oversees the management of Pearl Continental hotels.
Teams from both companies worked together during a detailed transition period that included system mapping, configuration, and operational training for hotel staff.
The company also plans to introduce its Infrasys POS solution in the country, aiming to support multi-outlet food and beverage operations through cloud-based technology.
Hashoo Group IT corporate director Alyas Aziz Malik said: “Daylight PMS is not just a software change; it is the operational heartbeat of the hotel. The transition required resilience, collaboration and attention to detail, and the learning gained throughout this journey has been invaluable for our team.”

The rollout at Pearl Continental Rawalpindi forms part of Shiji’s wider strategy to expand in Pakistan.
Additional deployments are expected as more regional hospitality groups adopt integrated technology systems for their operations.
