Nordic hospitality brand Strawberry Hotels has partnered with virtual payment technology provider Conferma to implement automated payment solutions for corporate travellers across its properties.
The partnership will leverage Conferma’s integration with Mews, which is the property management system (PMS) used by Strawberry.

The integration will allow easy acceptance of virtual card details while ensuring smooth stays for guests, increased visibility and reconciliation for corporates and improve hotel operations efficiency.
Conferma partnerships manager Jonathan Svedberg said: “Corporate travellers have enough on their minds. They want their hotel stays to be seamless — and payments are a big part of that.
“Together with Strawberry Hotels, we’re enabling frictionless, automated payments that improve guest experience, back-office efficiency, and corporate compliance.”

According to Conferma, the integration eliminates the use of emailed forms or manual data entry, reduces mistakes, and keeps full card details concealed.
The development comes as business travellers seek greater convenience, speed, and security in their payment methods, alongside hotels’ requirements for operational efficiency and compliance with company policies.
Strawberry Hotels will now offer this virtual card acceptance capability across its network, addressing increased demand from businesses either currently using or considering virtual cards.
