Summit Hotels & Resorts has signed two new boutique hotels in North Bengal, expanding its portfolio across India’s Darjeeling–Siliguri region.
The Siliguri and Darjeeling property openings are scheduled for August 2026 and January 2027, respectively.

The new Summit Gulma River Resort in Siliguri and Summit Falling Water near Darjeeling are each designed to offer 30 rooms.
The Summit Gulma River resort aims to serve leisure visitors and event attendees. Facilities will include standard and studio-style rooms with kitchenettes for extended stays.
There will also be an in-house restaurant and bar, spa, fitness centre, and a banquet hall that can accommodate up to 150 guests.
The resort targets boutique weddings, social events, and corporate gatherings within Siliguri’s tea garden belt.
Summit Falling Water will offer amenities such as a coffee shop, a restaurant, a gym, a spa overlooking the stream, and large parking facilities.
