Hilton has expanded its presence in Europe with the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Malta, the brand's first property on the Maltese islands.
Located in St Paul's Bay, the upscale hotel offers 485 guest rooms, a range of dining options, extensive meeting facilities and prime beachfront access.
The hotel provides easy access to historical and cultural attractions such as the ancient city of Mdina, the capital Valletta, and the Megalithic Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Guests can discover a piece of history on-site, with the Buġibba Ancient Temple offering a glimpse into Malta's Neolithic era.
"The opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Malta is a significant milestone for Hilton as we introduce the brand to the Maltese islands,” said David Kelly, senior vice-president, Continental Europe, Hilton, in a statement.
“This hotel embodies our commitment to heartfelt experiences, combining the warm, welcoming service that DoubleTree by Hilton is known for, with the unique beauty and rich historic tapestry of Malta.”
Guests can choose from superior, deluxe and family-sized rooms.

The Azure Restaurant and Terrace serves international cuisine with buffet choices, while Carvv Grill and Enoteca provide a contemporary ambience.
For a relaxed atmosphere, the Juniper Lounge Bar transforms from a coffee and snack spot in the morning to a cocktail bar in the evening. The Limonata swim-up pool bar offers drinks inspired by the Mediterranean, while the Ombré Café Bistro provides Mediterranean cuisine.
The main pool area features two seasonal outdoor pools with a sundeck overlooking the bay, with a heated option available year-round.
Guests can look forward to a private beach club opening in 2025, offering views, infinity pools and direct beach access.
DoubleTree by Hilton Malta caters to business travellers with 2,000m² of meeting space. This includes a 971m² ballroom for large events and weddings, 16 meeting rooms and an auditorium, all equipped with the latest audio-visual technology.
The hotel's convenient location, just 35 minutes from the airport and close to a bus terminal, ensures easy access for attendees.
