Global hospitality group Hyatt has expanded its presence in Nepal with the opening of the company’s third property in the country.
Located in Butwal, the Hyatt Place hotel offers 109 guestrooms, including King and Twin rooms options with forest or hill views, and a range of suites. Sizes of these rooms start from 28m² and go up to 72m².
The Presidential Suite, spanning 145m², is the largest accommodation at the new site.
The hotel aims to cater to both business and leisure travellers by providing services such as complimentary Wi-Fi and 24-hour dining options.
Guests have access to various amenities during their stay, including a fitness centre, outdoor pool, spa, and children’s play area.
The venue also features meeting and event spaces, with a grand ballroom that can hold up to 150 guests.
For dining and refreshments, guests can choose from The Market for meals or snacks at any hour and Zing Bar for coffee or alcoholic beverages.
The hotel also offers a breakfast service for all guests.
Hyatt Place Butwal general manager Tushar Nagar said: “We’re committed to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences that exceed our guests’ expectations. Our thoughtfully designed rooms, diverse dining options and extensive event spaces make us an ideal destination for both business and leisure travellers.
“Whether guests are here to work, unwind, attend conferences or celebrate special occasions, we strive to create a welcoming environment where convenience meets comfort at every turn.
“Our dedicated team is passionate about providing personalised service and ensuring every stay is memorable, reinforcing our reputation as a premiere choice in the heart of Butwal.”
The opening of Hyatt Place Butwal is part of the company's wider approach to increase its footprint in locations important to both regular customers and members of its loyalty programme.
Hyatt manages 52 properties across India and Southwest Asia. Out of these, 50 are located in India and two operate in Nepal, representing nine brands.
In 2024, a Hyatt affiliate signed a management agreement with Veda Hospitality, which is under the Golyan Group, to manage Hyatt Regency Lumbini.
The new hotel will become the fourth property under the Hyatt brand in Nepal. The expected opening date for Hyatt Regency Lumbini is 2028.
