New Mindtrip for Hotels platform brings AI-driven trip planning

The new platform enables hotels to deliver customised recommendations, which help guests plan activities.

AI-based travel platform Mindtrip has introduced a new B2B solution to enable hotel properties to offer guests personalised trip plans and local recommendations using AI.

Known as Mindtrip for Hotels, the platform allows hotels to integrate AI-powered features directly into their websites through code snippets or page templates.

Once implemented, guests can access information about both on-property and nearby attractions, dining options, events and activities before or during their stay, as well as receive immediate responses to specific queries about hotel services and amenities.

Hotels are able to provide visitors with detailed and current information regarding the surrounding area, including images and reviews of local venues.

The system elevates existing hotel website materials and branded content, while also allowing properties to build bespoke guides that are published across both the hotel's own site and Mindtrip's consumer-facing platform. These guides become discoverable through online search, said the company.

Through features such as Magic Links, Mindtrip explained that any digital content showcasing the hotel or local area—such as social media posts and videos—can be transformed into an interactive trip plan accessed via the hotel’s website.

Hotels can use these links within their own communication channels to move potential guests from initial interest to booking.

Mindtrip for Hotels employs geo-targeting to ensure guests receive suggestions for venues and partners located on the property or in the immediate vicinity.

QR codes and digital links can be distributed throughout rooms or included in guest communications to facilitate instant access to planning tools and recommendations.

For property operators, the suite provides a centralised dashboard with data on guest interactions, chat conversations, handoffs to local partners, user sign-ups, and marketing opt-ins.

This capability supports hotels in tracking engagement and expanding their marketing lists as guests save or share their itineraries.

Mindtrip co-founder and CEO Andy Moss said: “Travellers want recommendations before booking and during off hours, and hotels are not always set up to do that. Mindtrip helps solve this problem by making all of their content actionable and bookable at any time of day.

“By implementing our suite of tools, hotels are now able to keep guests engaged even before they enter the property, while empowering their staff to anticipate each guest's personalised needs. It's a win-win for both the property and its guests, and a surefire way to build long-lasting loyalty.”

Mindtrip reports global interest in its platform since its original launch, noting its integration of more than 11 million points of interest alongside insights from over 40,000 local travel guides.

The company’s platform delivers real-time, personalised recommendations to users worldwide.
