Software and technology company Sabre has acquired hospitality e-commerce provider Techsembly to expand and expedite its hospitality retailing solutions.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed by the companies.

Techsembly provides a completely automated e-commerce solution, which allows hotels across the world to manage their multiple online property stores, logistics and products on a centralised platform.

It also supports the sale of global gift cards and experiences for guest use at any property.

The SynXis Retail Studio of Sabre Hospitality allows hoteliers to retail many products and services along with the reservation of rooms.

This helps in creating additional revenue streams for the hoteliers and increases guest satisfaction.

Sabre plans to integrate Techsembly's e-commerce marketplace and gift card capabilities with SynXis Retail Studio to create a single destination for providing several products used at all stages of the guest journey.

This will replace the need for hoteliers to manage multiple sites and sell anything from on-property policies, services, goods and experiences to partnering with local businesses, the company said.
