Hotel Nikko Narita is claimed to be the first hotel in Japan to be certified under its verification service and aims to ensure visitors’ safety.
SGS developed the verification process and launched across the world after the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The certification indicates that Hotel Nikko Narita has implemented infection prevention measures and complies with the latest guidelines recognised by the World Health Organization, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
Hotel Nikko Narita general manager Makoto Yoshitaka said: “In 2020, the world clearly changed due to the spread of Covid-19. Concerns about the further spread of the disease cannot be dispelled, and the situation continues to be unpredictable.
