Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 21.04% share in June 2021, recording an increase of 2.53% over the last three-month average share.

By GlobalData1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 72.34% in June 2021, an 8.51% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 9.93% share, an increase of 16.67% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 7.8%, registering a 175% rise from May 2021.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 7.09%, down 37.5% over the previous month.
Top five travel & tourism companies in India IT recruitment activity in June 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 11.43% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India travel & tourism industry during June 2021 over May 2021.
A.P. Moller – Maersk posted 47 IT jobs in June 2021 and registered a drop of 12.96% over the previous month, followed by Uber Technologies with 29 jobs and a 52.63% growth. Expedia Group with 26 IT jobs and Booking Holdings with 8 jobs, recorded a 3.7% drop and a 300% increase, respectively, while United Airlines Holdings recorded a 133.33% an increase with 7 job postings during June 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 56.74%, down by 19.19% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 34.04% share, a growth of 92% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 9.22% share, up 44.44% over May 2021.
