Out of the total IT job titles posted by A.P. Moller – Maersk, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 59.67% in September 2021, and a 6.9% drop over August 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 21.55% in September 2021, and registered growth of 143.75%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 9.94% in September 2021, a 12.5% rise from August 2021.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at A.P. Moller – Maersk

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 51.93% share, which marked an 18.99% rise over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 42.54%, registering a 7.23% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 4.42% share and a 20% drop over August 2021.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 1.1% and a month-on-month flat growth.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 43.09% share in September 2021, a 5.41% growth over August 2021. Denmark featured next with a 23.2% share, up 27.27% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 16.57% share, a decline of 9.09% compared with August 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead A.P. Moller – Maersk IT hiring activity in September 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.3%, up by 12.15% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 26.52% share, a decline of 9.43% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.18% share, down 7.14% over August 2021.
