Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 6.17% share in July 2022, recording a decrease of 0.1% over the last three-month average share.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 12.97% share, a decrease of 7.69% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 11.35%, registering a 133.33% rise from June 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 7.57%, up 55.56% over the previous month.
Top five travel & tourism companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 45.16% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s travel & tourism industry during July 2022 over June 2022.
Deutsche Lufthansa posted 87 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a rise of 107.14% over the previous month, followed by Deutsche Bahn with 50 jobs and a 28.21% growth. Flix with 34 IT jobs and Hapag-Lloyd with 5 jobs, recorded a 3.03% growth and a 16.67% decrease, respectively, while TUI recorded a flat growth with 4 job postings during July 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 72.43%, up by 27.62% from June 2022. Entry Level positions with a 15.68% share, registered an increase of 163.64% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 11.89% share, up 22.22% over June 2022.
