Hotel management company Davidson Hospitality Group has been contracted to manage Barnsley Resort in Adairsville, Georgia.

The company will manage the luxury resort under its operating vertical, Davidson Resorts.

The property is spread across 3,000-acre and features 140 rooms, including standalone cottages and suites, and 16,000ft2 of space to hold indoor meetings.

Barnsley Resort also houses three restaurants and bars, including a Beer Garden, a fitness centre, a Spa, three retail shops and outdoor swimming pool, which is available seasonally.

Guests will also have access to outdoor recreation including horseback riding, axe throwing, archery, 10-acre lake for canoeing, kayaking, and fishing, Manor House Ruins & Gardens as well as beretta shooting grounds by High Adventure Company.

The resort also boasts 18-hole championship golf course and Golf Performance Centre.

Davidson will collaborate with resort owners for expansion, which will include addition of new amenities, room renovations and more.

The property is situated one-hour northwest of Atlanta.
