Lifestyle hotel brand Ennismore has signed an agreement for SO/ hotel in Ras Al Khaimah city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which will open in November 2025.

The hotel will be the company’s first lifestyle hotel in the emirate and SO/’s first all-inclusive resort to launch outside Europe.

The property is situated at the entrance of Al Marjan Island.

Al Marjan Island is currently undergoing significant development and will feature several luxury lifestyle resorts, retail, dining, and entertainment spaces in progress.

SO/ Ras Al Khaimah will offer 257 rooms and suites across seven categories, all with sea views.

The resort will include five restaurants and bars managed by Ennismore’s global food and beverage team, alongside event spaces capable of hosting up to 345 guests.

The resort will provide wellness facilities including a spa, sauna, treatment rooms, and a gym.

There are also options for outdoor exercise, with seven golf courses located within 11km.

Additional amenities comprise two pool bars and an independent beach club.

Furthermore, the hotel is equipped with a function hall, pre-function space, and four adaptable meeting rooms for business and private functions.

Ras Al Khaimah recorded 1.28 million overnight visitors in 2024 according to the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, reflecting a 12% increase in tourism revenues, stated Ennismore.

The emirate is targeting 3.5 million annual visitors by 2030.

The introduction of SO/ Ras Al Khaimah aligns with broader plans to enhance hospitality and leisure offerings on Al Marjan Island and across the region.

Ennismore’s agreement for SO/ Ras Al Khaimah highlights the company’s strategy to increase its presence within the international lifestyle all-inclusive market.

The group currently has more than 60 resorts either operating or under development globally, accounting for more than 25,000 rooms.

The SO/ Ras Al Khaimah property will be added to Ennismore’s ALL Inclusive Collection, a digital platform that features a selection of all-inclusive resorts operated by brands such as Rixos, SO/, Hyde, SLS, and Swissôtel.
