The property will include facilities such as a restaurant serving food throughout the day, a rooftop pool, a gym and a spa.

Ramada Plaza’s location places it near the Mall of the Emirates, Sheikh Zayed Road and other prominent sites in Dubai, according to a release posted on Zawya.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts currently manages 19 hotels across the UAE, including properties situated in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Ajman.

The development aims to address the demand from business and leisure travellers seeking accommodation options in central Dubai locations.

Luxuria Hotel Management director Abhay Sharma said: “We are delighted to strengthen our partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts through the signing of Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Al Barsha.

“This project reflects our shared commitment to delivering trusted, high-quality hospitality experiences in prime locations across Dubai. We look forward to bringing this exciting property to life and welcoming guests from around the world.”

This agreement is part of ongoing efforts by both Luxuria Hotel Management and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to extend their portfolios within the region.

Wyndham aims to expand its presence in the upper midscale and upscale hospitality sectors within key urban centres.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts EMEA president Dimitris Manikis said: “Dubai remains one of the most strategically important markets for Wyndham in the MEA region, driven by its robust infrastructure, strong demand fundamentals, and visionary tourism strategy.

“Partnering once again with Luxuria Hotel Management for this Ramada Plaza signing allows us to strengthen our presence in Al Barsha, a key micro-market, and further enhance our portfolio of well-recognised brands across the city.”

Wyndham collaborated with entrepreneur Mohammed Khalid Sabbagh to open a new Ramada by Wyndham hotel in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, in October.
