The new 150,000ft² hotel tower includes 183 standard rooms and 20 luxury suites. Guests have access to a full-service bar and restaurant, conference facilities, a fitness centre, and an outdoor terrace.
Hollywood Casino Columbus plans further additions. An expanded high-limit table games room and a speakeasy bar are scheduled to debut in the third quarter of 2026, pending customary regulatory approval processes.
Penn Entertainment stated that it expects the overall expansion at Hollywood Casino Columbus to result in approximately 150 additional jobs.
The launch of the new hotel tower featured a grand opening ceremony attended by dignitaries and included various entertainment events.
Penn Entertainment CEO and president Jay Snowden said: “We’re delighted to officially open our new hotel in Columbus, which further positions us as the top entertainment destination in the region.
“This opening marks our third of four retail development projects to open in under a year, and we expect to follow this momentous day with the grand opening of our new casino in Aurora, Illinois, in less than two weeks.”
Last year, the company opened a land-based casino in Joliet, Illinois, and a new hotel tower at M Resort Spa Casino Las Vegas.
Additional expansion plans include the anticipated opening of Hollywood Casino Aurora on 24 June and a new land-based property in Council Bluffs, Iowa, expected in 2028, each subject to standard regulatory clearances.
