In a Shiji statement, the cloud-native system will also offer the flexibility and performance required for Kempinski’s ongoing expansion in the Chinese market.

The technology company added that the property management system has been deployed across Kempinski hotels in more than 4,400 rooms.

With an API-first architecture, Daylight PMS connects with existing systems and is structured to integrate with future technologies, allowing hotels to update their technology stack.

The platform supports core functions across the guest journey, from reservations and check-in to guest services and reporting, creating a connected operational environment aimed at improving staff productivity and the guest experience.

Shiji International CEO and Shiji Group COO Kevin King said: “Luxury hospitality is built on creating memorable experiences through exceptional service.

“By choosing Daylight PMS, Kempinski Hotels is investing in technology designed around the guest.

“Our platform empowers hotel teams with deeper guest insights, streamlined operations, and enterprise-grade security, enabling them to deliver personalised experiences at every touchpoint while supporting future growth.”

Alongside its guest management capabilities, Daylight PMS includes security and privacy features designed to meet industry standards for data protection and compliance.

Kempinski Hotels Greater China and Mongolia managing director and KEY International Hotels Management general manager Alan Chin said: “At Kempinski, we believe technology should enhance the human element of hospitality.

“Daylight PMS provides the tools and flexibility we need to better understand our guests, improve operational efficiency, and support our continued expansion.

“Shiji’s expertise in hospitality technology, particularly within Asia, made them a natural partner for this important initiative.”

Last month, Shiji partnered with Omniboost, a data integration platform, which connects operational and financial systems for hotels and groups.
