It also extends a relationship between Marriott and SHN that has lasted for more than three decades.

The three resorts, previously operating under the Le Domaine du Pacifique name, are located across some of New Caledonia’s coastal and nature-based destinations.

Le Domaine Déva, Series by Marriott, is in Bourail within the Déva Domain nature reserve. The beachfront resort sits close to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed barrier reef and includes 120 guest rooms, suites and bungalows.

The property’s design draws on Melanesian and Kanak influences. Facilities include direct beach access, fitness centre, games room, meeting space, an outdoor pool, and a whirlpool. Guests also have access to Golf de Déva.

Le Domaine Oro, Series by Marriott, is located on Oro Bay on the Isle of Pines. The resort has 48 guest rooms, including 28 bungalow suites, with private balconies or terraces and views of the garden, pool, beach or lagoon.

Its facilities include an outdoor infinity pool, fitness centre, bar and games room. The property is within walking distance of Baie d’Oro, a coral lagoon known for swimming and snorkelling.

The Nouméa resort is on Anse Vata Bay, facing the UNESCO-listed lagoon. It has 207 guest rooms, including 34 suites, with private balconies and either garden or lagoon views.

The property includes direct beach access, an outdoor pool, fitness centre, business centre and seven meeting rooms. The Laperouse Ballroom can accommodate up to 400 guests.

Marriott International Asia Pacific, excluding China chief lodging product and services officer Cristiano Rinaldi said: “The addition of these three distinctive resorts in New Caledonia is a significant milestone for the brand’s growth in the Pacific.

“We believe New Caledonia deserves to be experienced in all its richness and diversity, and through Series by Marriott, guests can connect more deeply with the unique character of this remarkable destination while enjoying the benefits and consistency of Marriott Bonvoy.”
