Accor has signed an agreement to open its first Sofitel Hotels & Resorts property in Ahmedabad in Gujarat, India.

The Sofitel Ahmedabad Palladium Mall Road is scheduled to open in 2030. It will be located in Thaltej.

Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems Sofitel Legend CEO Maud Bailly said: “We are delighted to introduce Sofitel to Ahmedabad, a city known for its entrepreneurial spirit. Sofitel Ahmedabad Palladium Mall Road will bring our distinctive French zest to the city.

The planned hotel will have 250 guest rooms and five food and beverage outlets, including indoor and outdoor dining spaces.

It will also include 2,550m² of banqueting and meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) facilities, as well as a children’s club and wellness and leisure amenities.

The property is intended to serve luxury corporate and leisure guests while also accommodating weddings, social events, and business gatherings.

Fanidhar Infra & Hospitality is developing the hotel. The company is promoted by Krunal Rajiv Bhai Patel and Haresh Patel.

Accor India & South Asia operates 77 hotels across luxury, premium, midscale, and economy segments.
