Marriott International has reached an agreement with Turkish company Özak GYO to open The Ritz-Carlton, Kemer, All-Inclusive property in Kemer.

Marriott International EMEA president Neal Jones said: “The signing of The Ritz-Carlton, Kemer, All-Inclusive reflects our continued focus on expanding Marriott’s luxury portfolio in sought-after leisure destinations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

“The project speaks to the evolution of the luxury resort segment, where guests increasingly seek the exceptional service, refined design and personalised experiences synonymous with The Ritz-Carlton, delivered within a fully immersive all-inclusive resort setting.”

The resort will occupy a coastal location covering more than 1.2km of shoreline adjacent to forested land.

Plans for the development include 141 guestrooms and suites, alongside a selection of villas configured with one to five bedrooms.

Food and beverage operations will be integrated into the property’s all-inclusive model across various indoor and outdoor settings.

Additional on-site amenities will include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, spa, fitness facility, children’s club, and a sports centre with courts designated for tennis and padel.

Özak GYO board chairman Ahmet Akbalık said: “We are combining the experience we have gained throughout our tourism journey, which began with our first luxury resort in 2004 and has seen us pioneer several firsts, with Özak GYO’s project development capabilities, the momentum it has built in residential projects, and the strong position it has established in the sector through its high-quality standards, together with Ela Hospitality’s expertise.

“With The Ritz-Carlton, Kemer, we are building on this experience to enter a new segment of luxury hospitality, creating a distinctive resort concept and holiday experience that are fully aligned with the project’s unique location.”

Last month, Marriott International signed a contract to launch a Ritz-Carlton Reserve hotel in Shanghai, China.
