The mixed-use project, formally designated the Yaesu 2-Chome Central District Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project (YAESU CORE), has been advanced in coordination with local rights holders for over 20 years.

Mitsui Fudosan participates as a member of the redevelopment.

Spanning a site of approximately 20,000m² with a total floor area of around 390,000m², the scheme comprises offices, retail facilities, a theatre, an international school, a bus terminal, and the Hotel & Serviced Residence, among other facilities.

Subterranean pedestrian infrastructure will connect Tokyo Station with Kyobashi Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line through neighbouring facilities.

The scheme also incorporates disaster-readiness safeguards along with environmental measures.

Oakwood Premier YAESU CORE Tokyo represents the fifth collaboration in Japan between Ascott and the Mitsui Fudosan Group, following their initial partnership on Oakwood Premier Tokyo Midtown.

The property belongs to Ascott’s upper-upscale Oakwood Premier brand.

Positioned roughly 190 metres above ground on floors 40 through 43, the accommodation will overlook central Tokyo.

The property will comprise 184 units ranging from approximately 30m² to 170m², configured for extended stays with kitchens, workspaces, storage, and laundry amenities.

Communal facilities situated on the 40th-floor lobby level will include a lounge, a fitness room, and a restaurant that will also admit non-hotel guests.
