1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 48.46% in July 2022, registering a 1.71% growth over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 27.59% share, a decrease of 4.4% over the previous month.

3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 8.98%, registering a 22.22% rise from June 2022.

4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 7.99%, down 4.35% over the previous month.

Top five travel & tourism companies in the US’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 9.45% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s travel & tourism industry during July 2022 over June 2022.

The Walt Disney posted 316 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a rise of 41.07% over the previous month, followed by Aimbridge Hospitality with 100 jobs and a 12.28% drop. Marriott International with 61 IT jobs and National Railroad Passenger with 60 jobs, recorded a 12.86% decline and a 15.38% growth, respectively, while Delta Air Lines recorded a decline of 39.13% with 42 job postings during July 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 64.61%, up by 0.99% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 22.69% share, registered an increase of 2.46% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 12.52% share, down 5.48% over June 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.18%, recording a month-on-month increase of 100%.
