InterContinental Hotels Group’s (IHG) Hotel Indigo Newark Downtown, the third of its brand, has opened in the New York Metro area.
Owned by the Hanini Group, the 108-room hotel located at 810 Broad Street is managed by Crestline Hotels & Resorts.
IHG Lifestyle Brands brand experience director Adam Glickman said: "The Hotel Indigo brand is uniquely designed to reflect the local culture, character and history of the neighborhoods where our hotels are located.
"Guests will be inspired by the neighbourhood story uncovered within the Hotel Indigo Newark Downtown, which captures the rise of modern industry within a stylish boutique hotel setting."
The Hotel Indigo Newark Downtown features restaurant ALVA that helps preserve the historic nature of the building with stylistic touches, and café Workshop.
Amenities offered by the hotel also include rooftop bar Skylab in Downtown Newark, 24-hour fitness centre and meeting space that can accommodate up to 45 people in the Edison Room.

The Newark hotel will also feature the brand’s new touchscreen display Neighborhood Guide that connects guests to each other, the local neighborhood and to Hotel Indigo locations around the world.
