Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has partnered with Delaware North to develop new Westin brand hotel in Buffalo, New York, US.

As part of a new 12-storey mixed-use development that will house Delaware North’s world headquarters, the Westin Buffalo is scheduled to open in June 2016, at 250 Delaware Avenue.

Delaware North will own and operate the new Westin hotel, which will feature 118 luxurious guest rooms, and 4,000ft² of modern meeting facilities.

The hotel will include around 6,000ft² of outdoor meeting space, in addition to brand’s signature WestinWORKOUT fitness studio with 2,400ft², featuring a bar and a grab and go market.

The property will also feature restaurant operated by Delaware North’s Patina Restaurant Group, as well as Westin brand’s signature services and amenities.

Westin Buffalo will be near to the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus and several major attractions such as the Buffalo Niagara Convention Centre, First Niagara Centre, and the HarborCentre mixed-use development.

The first five floors will be occupied by Westin Buffalo in the new building, being developed by Uniland Development, and will feature a separate entrance and lobby on Delaware Avenue.
