Hilton has signed Diyar Ajwa, in collaboration with Al Musbah Group, marking its first property under the Tapestry Collection brand in Saudi Arabia.

Due to launch later this year, the hotel keeps the hospitality group on course to attain its goal of having 100 properties operational or in development in Saudi Arabia.

Al Musbah Group director Mohammed Almusbahi said: “We are proud to partner once again with Hilton to introduce the first Tapestry Collection by Hilton in the Kingdom. With its unique identity rooted in local heritage, this hotel will offer visitors and pilgrims an authentic and memorable stay in the heart of Madinah.

“Our continued collaboration with Hilton reflects our shared vision to support the Kingdom’s hospitality goals and deliver world-class offerings across key cities.”

Diyar Ajwa will feature 221 guest rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, a café, and a fitness centre.

The design of the hotel will draw inspiration from the Ajwa date, a fruit exclusively grown in Madinah.

Situated north of Madinah’s central Haram area, the new property will provide guests with views of Al Masjid Al Nabawi and direct pedestrian access.

Moreover, the hotel offers proximity to Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport and easy connectivity with the Haramain High-Speed Rail network.

Tapestry Collection by Hilton is known for its portfolio of independent hotels worldwide.

Hilton currently has 20 hotels operational in Saudi Arabia and another 77 under development.

In May, the group signed the Spark by Hilton Makkah Aziziyah, also in partnership with Al Musbah Group, introducing the premium economy brand to Saudi Arabia.

Hilton’s growing pipeline in Saudi Arabia supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
