Hotel operators adopting GuestKey can provide guests with arrival kiosks supported by AIKey, where users can verify their identity, process payments, and obtain room keys.

The kiosks include an AI Concierge for guest inquiries and offer access to live assistance when necessary.

In addition, the messaging component uses SMS automation powered by AIKey, handling communications throughout a guest’s stay, including pre-arrival instructions and post-stay surveys.

The GuestBot feature can answer guest questions and process room requests, working directly with HotelKey’s property management system.

The platform also offers a digital key function, WalletKey, which enables secure room access via NFC-enabled Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. This feature is positioned as a substitute for traditional plastic room cards and older Bluetooth-based digital keys.

According to HotelKey, GuestKey can reduce operational complexity by integrating directly with its property management system, thus dispensing with the need for separate systems.

The company notes that automating routine front-desk services could result in recovering more than 2,000 labour hours per property each year and generate increased revenue through real-time upselling during guest interactions.

These advancements allow HotelKey to provide a plug-and-play solution intended to support revenue growth, improve operational processes, and facilitate guest interactions for hotels and enterprise groups.

HotelKey co-founder and president Aditya Thyagarajan said: “With GuestKey, we are putting the power of agentic AI directly into the hands of both guests and hoteliers.

“We aren’t just digitising the arrival process; we are completely redefining what it means to deliver seamless, personalised hospitality at scale.”

HotelKey’s software currently supports more than 25,000 contracted hotels, with 15,000 properties using its hospitality management system, serving both enterprise hotel chains and independent properties worldwide.

In June 2025, digital marketing platform Sojern launched a real-time guest feedback integration in partnership with HotelKey. This new feature allows hotels to collect and address guest feedback immediately during a guest’s stay.
