Multinational hospitality firm Hyatt Hotels & Resorts has revealed plans to open new luxury Grand Hyatt hotel in Quintana Roo, Mexico.
The new-build Grand Hyatt Cancún Beach Resort will be opened in partnership with ownership group Diestra Realty.
Slated to open in 2024, the new hotel will boast 500 rooms including 28 featuring own plunge pool, and 46 are luxury suites, including one Presidential Suite.
Grand Hyatt Cancún Beach Resort will feature 11 dining concepts, six bars, including a lobby lounge bar, pool bar, beach shack, business centre and retail shops.
Other guest amenities will include an indoor and outdoor destination spa area and fitness centre, three swimming pools, kids club, and more than 16,000ft2 of flexible gathering spaces for any events.

Grand Hyatt Cancún Beach Resort will be part of Puerto Cancún, a master-planned residential resort community.
Among others, the development will feature condominiums, single-family homes, recreation centre, protected natural reserve and shopping mall.
The resort will join 18 more Hyatt-branded hotels in Cancún, including luxury resorts across the AMR Collection brands.
Last month, a Hyatt affiliate and real estate development firm Grupo Murano reached a management agreement for the first Andaz property in Mexico City.
