
Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has signed for a new hotel under its Vivanta upscale hotel brand in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
This move is part of the company’s strategy to expand its footprint in India’s high-growth micro markets.

This greenfield project will enhance IHCL’s presence in the state capital.
IHCL real estate and development executive vice-president Suma Venkatesh said: “Fuelled by major infrastructure developments, Jaipur has rapidly evolved as a key regional hub, significantly boosting demand from business and MICE segments apart from the long-established leisure segment.
“This signing aligns with IHCL’s strategy to expand presence in such high-growth micro markets of metros and state capitals across India.
“We are delighted to collaborate with Mr Dinesh Choudhary, Mr Vivek Choudhary and Mr Rajat Choudhary for this project.”

By GlobalDataThis 160-room Vivanta property will be the nearest hotel to the recently renovated Terminal 1 of Jaipur International Airport.
The hotel is set to cater to both leisure and business guests with facilities, including an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, a fully equipped gym, a speciality rooftop restaurant, and conference facilities.
IHCL is partnering with Wonder Build Developers for the hotel project.
Wonder Build Developers director Vivek Choudhary said: “We are proud to partner with IHCL to bring the Vivanta brand to Jaipur.
“This collaboration will contribute to the city’s growing hospitality landscape and offer a world-class experience to travellers. With IHCL’s expertise and the strong brand recognition of Vivanta, we are confident that the hotel will emerge as a preferred destination for travellers.”
With this new property, IHCL will have 31 hotels in Rajasthan, with eight under development.
The company currently operates a portfolio of 392 hotels, with 143 under development across 14 countries, and in over 150 locations.
Earlier this month, IHCL announced the signing of another Vivanta-branded hotel in Goa, India, in collaboration with property owner Fiesta Hotels.
