
Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has signed a Vivanta-branded hotel in Goa, India, in collaboration with property owner Fiesta Hotels.
This greenfield project aligns with IHCL’s strategy to broaden its reach in key leisure destinations.
IHCL real estate and development executive vice-president Suma Venkatesh said: “IHCL has been at the forefront of pioneering destinations and has played a defining role in putting Goa on the global tourism map for over five decades.
“This signing is in line with our strategy to expand IHCL’s presence across segments in key leisure markets. We are delighted to strengthen our partnership with Fiesta Hotels with this new project.”
The upcoming 110-key Vivanta hotel will be situated in Anjuna, an area known for its beaches.
It will offer guests a range of amenities, including an all-day diner, a bar, a swimming pool, a gym, and conference facilities.

The addition of this Vivanta hotel will bring IHCL’s total number of hotels in Goa to 18, including five under development.
IHCL and its subsidiaries operate a diverse portfolio of brands, including Taj, Claridges Collection, Gateway, and Ginger.
With the inclusion of the new property, its global portfolio will encompass 392 hotels, with 143 under development across four continents, 14 countries, and in more than 150 locations.
Earlier this year, IHCL also announced an agreement with Just Perfect Resorts Goa to open a new SeleQtions hotel in the state.
This 51-key resort will involve the transformation of an existing property and will feature various amenities.
In addition, IHCL subsidiary Roots Corporation announced plans in February 2024 to open a new Ginger hotel near Manohar International Airport (MOPA) in Goa.
