IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) has signed a franchise agreement to introduce its midscale conversion brand, Garner, to Ahmedabad.
Scheduled to open in 2029, the 40-room Garner Hotel Ahmedabad Motera will be located at the Motera-Sabarmati junction in northern Ahmedabad.

It will form part of a wider mixed-use development that will include retail units, dining options, banqueting spaces, and a hospital facility.
Devpriya Buildcon will handle the project development while United Hospitality Management (UHM) India has been appointed to manage daily hotel operations.

The addition of the Garner site expands IHG’s footprint in Ahmedabad, where it currently operates the Crowne Plaza Ahmedabad City Centre and the Holiday Inn Express Ahmedabad Prahlad Nagar.
The company also has a Holiday Inn property under development in the city.
