IHG Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with Nhance, has announced a new addition to its premium voco brand.

The forthcoming voco The Club – Dublin Gateway in Ireland is scheduled to be fully rebranded later this year, bolstering IHG’s presence in Ireland to ten properties, including those in the pipeline.

Commenting on the new hotel, IHG Hotels & Resorts Europe development vice-president Willemijn Geels said: “This remarkable property not only sets a high standard for the voco brand but also lays a solid foundation for our expansion across the country as we look to explore new opportunities across our diverse brand portfolio.

“We are particularly excited about our partnership with Nhance, as it signifies the beginning of a promising collaboration and paves the way for more exciting opportunities in the future.”

This converted hotel is situated on a 12-acre site in County Kildare, 15 miles west of Dublin.

The 50-key property will offer a brasserie-style restaurant, an outdoor spa with hot tubs and a sauna, and multiple meeting spaces.

Nhance director Eoin Doyle said: “We are delighted to be partnering with IHG for the first time on this magnificent property. It seems fitting that IHG, a leading global hotel brand, will have their name on such a special hotel in an amazing location.

voco has seen growth since its launch in 2018, reaching 100 open hotels and experiencing robust development activity last year.

IHG said that its voco brand is recognised for its flexible design and operational framework, which is particularly suited to conversions.

This allows hotel owners to leverage IHG’s enterprise platform while incurring limited upfront costs.

voco The Club – Dublin Gateway will contribute to the voco brand’s rapid expansion in Europe, which includes more than 30 open properties and 19 in development.

This growth is exemplified by the upcoming voco London – Waterloo and voco Antalya Konyaaltı, the latter set to be the first voco hotel in Turkey when it opens in 2028.
