King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) in Saudi Arabia has entered a partnership with hospitality brand Vivienda to build a new luxury resort within KAEC.

As per the agreement, KAEC sold 29,000m² of land to Vivienda for the construction of the resort and once opened, this property will be the sixth location for Vivienda, which is owned by Forus Real Estate Investment and Development Company.

The new resort will consist of a 60-key boutique hotel, 20 villas, 24 serviced apartments and other amenities and facilities such as restaurants, outdoor pools, recreational lounges, and gyms.

Guests can also access personalised services, including in-villa dining, chauffeurs, private butler service and a concierge.

KAEC CEO Cyril Piaia said: “We are thrilled to welcome Vivienda to KAEC. This partnership aligns with our strategic vision to enhance the tourism sector and augment our existing assets.

“KAEC, situated by the pristine waters of the Red Sea, is a multi-faceted lifestyle residential communities, tourist, entertainment and leisure destination catering to visitors and residents of all ages.
