La Vie Hotels and Resorts has signed an agreement with YOO to bring the group’s flagship hospitality brands YOO2 Hotel and By YOO Villas to Phuket, Thailand.
The Forest By YOO will be located on the southern end of Patong near the mountains and is reportedly designed to limit the impact on the existing tropical forest.
Spread over two separate zones, both YOO2 and By YOO villas will cater to families, couples, and groups. The companies state that the properties will add 600 rooms to Phuket’s hospitality market.
There will be 131 By YOO luxury villas and guests will have full access to the facilities at YOO2.
YOO2 is set to open in 2026 and will have 432 guestrooms, a spa, and facilities for meetings, events and weddings.
Worldcorp CEO and owner of YOO2 and By YOO Dr Chirasak Chiyachantana said: “We are proud to be working with La Vie Hotels & Resorts to bring this world-class development to the people of Phuket. We are looking forward to working with the team at YOO to ensure the design and style of the properties truly captures the essence of the brand.”
