The LUX* Belle Mare, Mauritius is set to reopen on 1 October 2023 after the completion of extensive renovation work.
Located on the island’s wild east coast, the resort has been designed by Mauritian architect Jean-Francois Adam, while the interiors were conceived by Jean-Marc Tang.
All 174 suites and 12 villas of the resort are being reimagined as part of the renovation project.
Guests will be able to enjoy an array of cuisines including Mediterranean, Chinese, Indian and international classics at the resort’s five restaurants: Beach Rouge, Duck Laundry, AMARI BY VINEET, Mondo and Royce Street.
The resort will also boast a spa, a fitness centre, a kids club, a swimming pool and other amenities.
The Lux Collective EMEA COO Ashish Modak said: “Authentic Mauritian hospitality at its best is what the team at LUX* Belle Mare has always been known for.
“From warm smiles to a personalised service that is the hallmark of our LUX* flagship brand, the team’s passion shines through with the delivery of curated extraordinary experiences.
“Positioned as the best luxury beach resort in Mauritius, our team is bubbling over with excitement to welcome our guests soon.”
Earlier this month, Lux Collective signed a hotel management deal with ZK Venture Company in Zanzibar for the first LUX* luxury resort in East Africa.
Located at Pwani Mchangani, on the northeast coast, LUX* Marijani Zanzibar features 82 rooms and suites, restaurants, a spa and a pool, along with meeting and conference facilities.
